Looking for a quiet place for you and your roommates to seriously study?
Do you want to ensure a seat on the bus and don’t mind a less than 10 minute walk to a direct bus route to the Univeristy? This home is in the NE corner of Guelph.
We are looking for 3 tenants or a couple plus 2 others to rent the upper floor of our home. Our son (part owner) will be living in the basement. We are local, near retirement and can provide references. We love having students in our home and are hoping you enjoy taking care of the place where you live. The home will be a legal duplex — renovations happening in the new year. The basement occupant is Deaf and communicates through ASL, texting and writing.
The pictures are of the home in its current “decor” (read outdated). Prior to move in it will have new flooring (in the living room, kitchen and dining room). It will be painted and thoroughly cleaned (of course!).
We are leaving the countertops with their retro look just for ambiance :-). All lighting will be updated with LED fixtures.
There is a shared laundry facility and you will have access to a freezer and storage area in the basement.
Rent will be $3000 for 3 people and includes all utilities. If there are 4 people the cost will be $3400. Internet costs can be shared with the basement occupant. The home has a new furnace, large hot water tank, and A/C.
We will furnish all common living areas and can provide bedroom furniture if you wish.
