Thursday, December 4, 2008

Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis invites you to remember the fourteen lives lost nineteen years ago this Saturday.

On December 6th, 1989, a man walked into the Engineering department of the Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal. He made male students go to one side of a classroom, and female students to the other.

He shot and killed fourteen women and then killed himself.

On Canada's National Day of Action on Violence Against Women, join us in remembering the women killed in the Montreal Massacre.

The vigil will be held in front of Guelph City Hall at 6pm Saturday December 6th.

For more information contact Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis at 519-836-1110 ext 234.

Hope to see you there,
