Indecent Exposure and Sexual Assault

Indecent Exposure and Sexual Assault – occurred on the 9th October 2007 at 3:45 pm in the area of Crimea St and Alma St N. Two young females were walking in the Crimea St. Alma St N area when they were approached by an unknown male who exposed himself to the girls. The two girls fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.

A short time later at approximately 4:15 pm on the 9th October 2007, near the Shelldale Community Centre, a female was walking alone in the area when a male grabbed the woman from behind and sexually assaulted her. The male then fled the scene and was last seen heading east along a laneway.

The male in both these incidents is described as male, white, 30 – 35 years of age wearing a grey t-shirt, navy blue shorts and he had tattoos on his arms and possibly on his legs. He was wearing a black baseball hat with white trim during the incident at Shelldale. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact Cst.     If this guy has reddish-blonde shorter scruffy hair, and is about 5'5-5'7, I know who he is...and this isn't his first time. I've been seeing him around town a lot more too.

    I'm almost 99.9% positive that this guy was on campus around 2.00am last night around Mountain Hall/South Res.

    Everyone should remember to be safe, don't walk alone at night if you don't have to and you shouldn't have to when on campus. If you are walking somewhere on campus call safewalk at extension 53200.
