University of Guelph Closed

The University of Guelph announced early this morning that it would be closed for the day due to hazardous weather conditions. Freezing rain warnings and poor road conditions due to sleet and snow are the reasons for this hazardous weather classification. All classes and exams scheduled for today are cancelled.

The University will be closed for the entire day, and only emergency services will be open.

Emergency services include residence cafeterias, Student Health Services and other departments listed in the University's Emergency Closing Procedures

The Bullring will also remain open for the duration of the day.
