It's that wonderful time of year when the Guelph campus is buzzing with life as students are settling into new classes and meeting up with old friends. But if you are looking for a way to get involved, make a difference, and learn something new, then the CSA maybe what you are looking for.

The Central Student Association (CSA) is your student government, and we are looking for people to sit on the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is comprised of undergraduate students who help guide the initiatives of the entire CSA; helping with the hiring of the CSA staff, making important decisions about significant issues and sitting on essential committees at the University of Guelph.

During the Bi-election we are looking for people to represent their college on the CSA Board of Directors. We have open spots for CSAHS, CBC, CASU, CPES, OVC, and CME. Sound like something you want to do? Pick up a nomination form from the CSA main offices on the 2nd floor of the U.C. in room 274 or print one off from www.csaonline.ca Board meetings are bi-weekly, and all board members even get free dinner to eat during the meeting! It looks great on a resume and gives you a chance to become intimately involved in campus life.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. The CSA Communications Commissioner for the 2008/2009 academic year is Jeff Rotman - he can be reached at

Don't delay, nominations are due September 15th, 2008.
