Disheartened by the violent protest

How ironic this issue has become. Weeks ago I signed a petition against the 4% international tuition hike. I was happy to do that, I hate seeing students forced into a tuition increase. You (the protesters) then used this information as fuel for the violent protest that ensued. If you are going to use MY name as support for the 4% tuition hike, then voice that petitioned support LEGALLY. LEGAL FORMS of protest DO WORK. I feel personally violated that my signature on that petition was used to support this ridiculous display.

Just like a young child who didn't get exactly what they want, these childish protesters acted foolishly and without tact. Sometimes in life you don't get what you want. When you don't get what you want, you CANNOT break the law. This is the glue that holds the public decent and at rest. The police acted PERFECTLY in dealing with you misfits (though I think they should have shown more force). If these protesters don't respect the police, what kind of respect do they expect in return. Absolutely disgusting.

These actions re-affirmed my belief that many of these activists (I'd rather call them scum) are inherent trouble makers, searching for outlets to rebel and act maliciously.
