Raise Your Voice

Thursday, April 17, 2008

Tonight at the Ebar, CFRU and the CSA are hosting Raise Your Voice 016. A fitting send off to the semester and welcome to the summer, RYV 016 features The Magic and the Hiltrons with Guest DJ Peter Bradley of CFRU's "The As Yet Untitled Peter Bradley Morning Show."

The Magic is fronted by hometown-hero Gordie Gordon, son of world renown Guelph musician James Gordon. The Magic constructs hot music with the sole intent of getting bodies moving. The beats and vocals simply force your body to move, guaranteeing that RYV 016 will get hot as summer even if the temp outside hasn't quite climbed that high.

The Hiltrons also promise to be a hopping force at the eBar tonight. With fast and tight beats and an out-of-this-world sound, people will be on their feet. If there is an excuse to lose it on the second floor dance floor of the eBar the Hiltrons are that excuse.

RYV 016 promises to be a force to be reckoned with. If you need to forget about your hours in the library or want to experience a preview of summer heat, The eBar will provide tonight.
