  • What

The average undergraduate student graduates $35 000 in debt. Tuition fees in Ontario are now the highest in the country with the lowest per-student funding. The University of Guelph is looking to increase tuition again this year. In this context it’s important to make the student voice heard!

On Feb 1 st at 2pm students will be gathering in the University Centre to join the cross-Canada day of action for accessible education. Bring your friends, family and pets to make sure our message gets out!

To get involved in the “Fight the Hikes” campaign please come to the next meeting next Tuesday Jan 24th at 5:30 in the CSA board room (2 nd floor University Centre).

We will be discussing how to proceed with the campaign, which will focus on attaining affordable, accessible, quality, post-secondary education. It is very important we have a strong team and lots of student participation, so come join the movement!
