OPIRG (Ontario Public Interest Research Group) Guelph is an activist centre for research, education, training and action for social and environmental justice. The Board of Directors work collectively to determine the direction of OPIRG and to ensure that the organization is fulfilling all obligations legally, financially and as employers. If you are interested in getting involved, consider running in the elections! There is no experience requirement for being on the Board, but we do need you to be dedicated to social and environmental justice, to be willing to work cooperatively with staff and other volunteers, and to be an OPIRG member and to uphold our mandate through the decisions you make.
