Decolonizing Food Justice
Saturday, August 10, 2013
This workshop will explore the meaning of food sovereignty in the context of Turtle Island. Using anti-oppressive, anti-colonial and anti-racist frameworks, we will look at food justice and food security more broadly. Together we will focus on how peoples who are not Indigenous to Turtle Island can work towards good practices of allyship within a decolonizing food justice framework.
