The Rainbow Chorus of Waterloo-Wellington presents: Souls of Our Shoes
Saturday, January 22, 2011
The Rainbow Chorus of Waterloo-Wellington invites you on a literal journey of a lifetime with its 2011 winter concert, Souls of Our Shoes.
Arranged as a musical homage to life itself, Souls of Our Shoes explores the joys and sorrows of the human condition using a wide variety of singing styles, including 60's folk, gospel, traditional, classical choral and acapella arrangements.
“The journey through life has but one beginning and ...one end, yet the road we take to get there is different for every individual,” explained Robert Miller, Artistic Director for the Rainbow Chorus.
“The selections in Souls of Our Shoes are intended to showcase the diversity of life's paths, whether they are across physical, emotional or spiritual boundaries.”
Following the concert, the Chorus will be holding its annual Rainbow Raffle, with more than $1700 in prizes available to be won. Information about the raffle can be found at www.rainbowchorus.ca. Refreshments and snacks will also be available after the show.
