What: OPIRG Guelph 2009 Summer Institute: Peer and Crisis Support
Where: University Centre, Room 103
When: Tuesday, August 11 from 5:30-8:30pm
Why: The Guelph Resource Centre for Gender Empowerment and Diversity (GRCGED) and OPIRG-Guelph offer workshops in order to provide structured space for learning and self-reflection about oppression and privilege. These workshops help to build skills, refine political analysis, and increase awareness.
All workshops will take place in a wheelchair accessible room. Snacks will be provided, so please be in touch with any dietary restrictions. We can also provide childcare and may be able to provide sign language interpretation. To request any of the above, or if you have any other accessibility needs, please email [email protected] with at least one week's notice.
The fourth annual Summer Institute is open to all. The workshops have limited enrolment, so please register as soon as possible through the University of Guelph's "reg" system at www.uoguelph.ca/studentaffairs/reg
