We live in a world saturated with ideologies that hinder our perspective and inevitably lead us all to make assumptions. Let’s face it folks, assuming makes an ass out of you and me! Often, we feel that living as a minority exempts us from making assumptions or that we are unable to exert power over one another. This is a dangerous assumption in itself and needs to be recognized in every one of us if social change will ever truly take place.
