    Barry Rubin is the Director of the Global Research in International Affairs (GLORIA) Center of the Interdisciplinary Centre, and one of the best known authors on the Arab-Israeli conflict, terrorism and general Middle East security and history.

    He has received numerous prestigious fellowships, including: Fulbright Council on Foreign Relations, US Institute of Peace and the Washington Institute for the Near East, and is an editor of the Middle East Review of International Affairs (MERIA). He has written and edited numerous books including: The Arab-Israel Reader and the Long Road to Freedom: The Arab Struggle for Democracy in the Middle East.

    Dr.Rubin has been a frequent contributor to The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Foreign Affairs and Foreign policy. He has been a guest on such television programs as Nightline, Face the Nation, The MacNeil-Lehrer NewsHour, The Larry King Show and others on CBS, CNN, Fox News and MSNBC.
