What
During this owl workshop called "A Who’s Whoo in Ontario," you will learn how to use your eyes and ears to identify Ontario’s owls. A variety of hands-on activities will teach you about owl plumage, calls and behaviour, habitat requirements, migration patterns and folklore.
An evening “owl prowl” in the Guelph area is planned. Participants will receive a recording of owl calls. The workshop is led by Arboretum naturalist Chris Earley, author of Hawks and Owls of the Great Lakes Region and Eastern North America. Cost is $95. The registration deadline is Jan. 14. A maximum of 16 adults can participate.
