What
Internationally-renowned water warrior, Maude Barlow, will speak at War Memorial Hall about our world's most precious and vulnerable resource, water. Maude Barlow is the National Chairperson of the Council of Canadians. In 2008/2009 Maude served as the Senior Advisor on Water to the President of the United Nations General Assembly.
She is the subject of the award-winning documentary Water on the Table, and is also the best selling author and co-author of 16 books, including the international best seller Blue Covenant: The Coming Water Crisis and the Coming Battle for the Right to Water.
There will be a Local Water Resource Fair in the reception hall downstairs following Maude Barlow's talk.
