The White Ribbon Campaign is an international initiative to end violence against women. It started with a kitchen table conversation with three men in Toronto. One of those men was Michael Kaufman; please join us to hear him speak!
Michael Kaufman, Ph.D. is an educator and writer focused on engaging men and boys to promote gender equality and end violence against women. He has worked in forty-five countries, including extensively with the United Nations, as well as numerous governments and NGOs. He is the co-founder of the White Ribbon Campaign, the largest effort in the world of men working to end violence against women. Prior to the talk in PCH, Michael Kaufman will be facilitating a small, interactive workshop on how to engage men on campus to take action against violence against women. NOTE: You have to register for this event! Please e-mail [email protected] if you will be attending.
