Join us for an evening of hoaxes and truth-telling with notorious prankster Andy Bichlbaum of The Yes Men and special guest Laurence Fabre, Canadian media activist and spokesperson for C.R.I.M.E.
The Yes Men have gained international acclaim for exposing dehumanizing business practices and helping to keep critical issues in the international spotlight. Their live presentations are hilarious, insightful, disturbing and thoroughly entertaining. The prolific pranksters discuss their ventures through storytelling and multimedia.
Author Naomi Klein has called the Yes Men “the Jonathan Swift of the Jackass generation.”
Bichlbaum will be joined by special guest Laurence Fabre of C.R.I.M.E. (Committee for the Reimbursement of the Indemnity Money Extorted from Haiti). Fabre played a key role in a Yes Men-inspired prank that drew international media attention to the issue of France's historical reparations owed to Haiti.
