What
This is a 2.5-hour women's self-defense workshop that teaches physical, awareness, avoidance, and verbal strategies, through the art of Wen-Do, that allow women of all physical statures and abilities to assess and utilize various strategies as they see fit. Instructor also ensure the physical and emotional well-being of the participants, and further discusses the different aspects of violence, such as harassment, relationship abuse, and sexual assault, as well as why they happen, how they happen, and what can be done if it happens. Most importantly, this workshop is available to women of all ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, identity as a transgendered woman, physical and mental abilities, economic situations, and past experiences.
