On the 1st of October, Saturday, A canning workshop will be held at the farm (1320 Gordon) 2-330PM at a cost of $10 (bring home your own canned goods!) followed by a fascinating lecture Denise Jupp will be delivering on Organic Gardening, covering seed sources, tips and tricks, site situating, composting, variety choice and more! It will be a 2 1/2 hour lecture divided by a break/question and answer period. This will run from 345-615PM and is completely free as well.
The two lectures are meant to be delivered in tandem and will make for an interesting few weekends at the farm! Saturday, September 24th @ , and Saturday, October 1st, @ 2pm (330 for denise's lecture) See previous ad "Understand the soil first" for 1st event details.
