We will be studying the tracks and signs of Ontario mammals and other types of wildlife. By the end of the day you will learn tracking terminology, proper track measurement, pattern classification, clear print classification, compression shapes, general scat identification and track aging theory. There is an outdoor component that will have us looking for and following animal tracks. Each participant will receive a copy of The Mammals of The Arboretum booklet which includes many tracks. Guest Instructor: Adrian O'Driscoll. Registration deadline: Friday, January 16 (you can register after this date if the workshop is running and there is still space). Maximum 18 adults.
