What
Money raised at this event will be donated to Camp Oochigeas, a volunteer organization, which provides children affected by cancer fun and meaningful experiences allowing for personal growth.
I am a graduate student in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph and have had the privilege of volunteering at residential camp in Muskoka, Ontario for several years, but have been unable to recently due to school. During my time volunteering, I had the special opportunity of interacting with the campers in this unique environment.
The campers at Oochigeas have had to mature quickly and often spend a lot of their time in hospitals and among adults. Camp Oochigeas focuses on giving campers the opportunity to be children. I embrace the opportunity to be involved with these amazing children and to touch their lives in such a special way.
The fashion show was a huge success for the past two years, with 40+ models and 6 local Guelph vendors participating each year. All money raised from the show will be donated to Camp Oochigeas. -
