What
Vancouver based singer songwriter Hannah Georgas is happy to announce her fall tour with a stop in Guelph at the beautiful Dublin St United Church. The tour will include dates in Quebec, the Maritimes and Ontario and is in continued support of her self titled album released almost a year ago.
Previous to this release, Georgas toured relentlessly for This is Good and spent four months on an international tour opening for Kathleen Edwards. In 2011 her hard work paid off with a win for “Emerging Artist of the Year” at XM’s Verge Music Awards and “Solo Artist o the Year” at the Sirius/XM-sponsored Indies as well as two Juno nominations for “Best New Artist of the Year” and “Songwriter of the Year".
Sam Cash & The Romantic Dogs just released "Stand Together, Fall Together". "This is the second album from Sam Cash, son of respected Toronto musician and current MP Andrew Cash, which appropriately sees him moving down the same roots-rock road as his dad. Recorded on Toronto Island over the course of a few days, it’s the sound of a young band growing up and coming into its own, but having plenty of fun in the process. For fans of: Tom Petty' September music preview: 10 albums you need to listen to this month. (Jesse Kinos-Goodin - CBC Music )
