  • Why

The Annual General Meeting is a meeting held for the general membership, YOU. This is a time for you to hold your representatives accountable to their actions, and it’s a time for your representatives to be completely transparent about what’s been going on in your student union.

At the AGM you will be expected to vote on bylaw changes that have been passed in the last two years by the CSA Board of Directors. This is the best time for you to have your voice heard through a vote! Bylaws change the way that your student union interacts with you, so if you don’t like a particular change you have the ability to vote against it, and the CSA Board of Directors has no choice but to abide by the decision.

We need you to bring as many friends as possible because we need to make sure at least 210 students are at the meeting. If we have any less, we risk not meeting quorum which means two things: 1) that over $2000 (of your money!) was wasted and 2) that the meeting will have to adjourn without you being able to vote on anything.

The CSA needs you to take action and attend the AGM. Inaction is not an option.
