Two rooms available … in a fully furnished household, Male or Female both welcomed, … we are in a well located neighbourhood within about 8 minute walk to south entrance U of G. as well as to NO FRILLS grocery in the Harvard R. Plaza One room, , on the main floor is immediately available the one on the 2nd floor looking south is available on a couple of days notice. Full kitchen and laundry use included. No pets and no smoking.
Dimson Ave passes via a connector path to Monticello Crescent with quick access ~8 min on foot, to campus, the bus loop and the shopping plaza at Harvard road. Our rooms are fully furnished except for bedsheets, pillows and blankets. Shared well equipped kitchen with Induction cooktop, microwave, lots of fridge space, dinette table and access to outdoor south deck, … the deck when Spring arrives! No parking on site, ]but pedal bicycles can be accommodated, and sorry but no pets and no smoking! Most residents here are PhD candidates or post doctoral, so it is a reasonably quiet, peaceful, … a friendly and academic residence. We will consider a clean quiet undergrad focused on academics who is co-operative with household upkeep sharing. We cannot offer vehicle parking although there are no restrictions here for on-street parking, … except at times when snow clearance is necessary …. we can however provide vehicle space, at additional cost at 17 Monticello Cres. about 6 minutes on foot, in the next neighbourhood between here and campus .., Our rents do nclude wi-fi and utilities.
Our ongoing housemates are in Crop Science Research or environmental design research at U of G. We have a “no coins needed” laundry on site, … but we cannot accommodate any major furnishings of your own, as we are primarily geared to international scholars who arrive out of the sky with 3 giant suitcases and no personal furnishings! However personal accessories are ok!
In summertime the outdoor deck and south garden with swim pool are a nice place to relax! We are looking for scholars to take a minimum 12 (to 14 month occupancy if you are looking for an April or May 1st 2026 occupancy, … at present we can not offer a fall 2026 reservation, at least not until after Canada Day July 1st if we still have space available by then. (On average residents are here for about 3 years before completing their programs.) As mentioned aboveUtilities and internet are included in the rent.
