Hey there! We’re looking for one more person to fill a bedroom in this 3-bedroom unit at 12 Suffolk W. I’m Karsen, and my friend Eden and I will be moving into this place on May 1st. The bedroom left is available for $900 monthly before utilities (The whole 3-bed is $3000 before util).
I am a first-year OVC vet student, and Eden is in their 5th year at UoG. You’d be joining the 1-year lease we have already signed, and we intend to stay for more than 1 year.
The room is unfurnished and is 11.5 by 8.5 feet with a 9-foot-8-inch ceiling. The closet door is closed in the pictures, but it is 38 inches wide and 23 deep, with a metal rod at head height. The bedroom is the door on the right down the main hallway, after the living area and before the kitchen (more photos: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1VMoCvcenU-GTCb10M-e05p17rQYLR6o6?usp=sharing). The shared bathroom is across from that.
The location is a 6 minute walk to downtown and Exhibition Park, and the bus stop for the 99 to the University is just a minute around the corner. The kitchen and shared bathroom are super up to date, which is really nice! The house is unfurnished, so items in the photos won’t be present upon move-in. We’re well underway in finding furniture for the common areas, so you’d only have to worry about the bedroom. As per the landlords, the unit has forced-air and gas heating, and central air cooling. Laundry facilities are in-unit in the basement, so nothing is shared with the upstairs 2-bed unit besides the driveway. Unfortunately, there isn’t another parking spot, as I will have my car at the property. I’m at the university near every weekday and am happy to carpool for school and shopping where needed 🙂
We’re very interested in someone respectful, clean, and generally quiet. We don’t host house events, and value our sleep at a reasonable hour, as I’m sure you do. Not that friends aren’t allowed to come over! We’d like to be flexible, but emphasize that no one should be disturbed by the other residents. No smoking or vaping, or any substances, please. Pets would only work if they are ones that live in a cage/enclosure. Above all, we value good communication and sorting things out together.
