Ideal quiet mostly postgrad well furnished residence,@17 Monticello Crescent ~5 minutes on foot to south campus bus entrance and ~ 5 min on foot to Plaza and groceries! Non-smoking and no pets. Executive level house, with bicycle storage in garage, even faster! TWO large and fully rooms, one available now and one on July 1st (fully furnished except sheets blankets and pillows which you provide.) Current housemates are PhD or post doctoral at present, quiet, academic and friendly. Non smoking and no pets. (1 parking spot available … addf $40 per month), but this place is close by on foot to groceries, Service Ontario and city and intercity transportation from the University Bus Loop. The larger bedroom, upper floor, and immediately available is looking east … and has a double size bed, desk, dresser, one cork board wall for posting posters or messages etc. … lamps, hardwood floors and closet, The resident who left (PhD program) happily went on into his career elsewhere! The other furnished bedroom, available from July 1st, is on the main floor, also looking east also has a double size bed and other good furnishings, desk, drawers, chairs, and a wardrobe type closet, … both rooms have hardwood floors … This quiet well appointed house is very international over the past 21 years, and currently we host residents from India, Canada, India, and Africa, pursuing environmental and pathology studies , including two mature ladies, one who is a nurse now working in Guelph, the other lady is free lance in administrative work. The house overall has 6 bedroom units spread over 3 levels. The common areas LivingRm Dining Rm and Kitchen and Laundry are large, well equipped and comfortable.
The large common kitchen includes a high end double fuel range, 2 large fridges, microwave, pots and pans … ( a 3rd full size fridge is downstairs in the laundry area, and a freezer in the kitchen adjacent garage … no coin laundry machines in the basement, a new high efficiency furnace, with hot water floor radiators in each room, hot water by gas fired “on demand” … and a 50 year steel roof above you! We will consider non-grad residents (undergrad) who are content to live co-operatively and quietly and hygienically in a spacious home close to the south entrance.bus loop. Room prices are all inclusive, utilities and wifi, … except for parking, available at $40/month, , but most residents don’t need as it is close to everything, school, groceries, the University Plaza on Harvard Rd. and public transport.
