Great location! … just off Gordon St. half way between campus and downtown, and close to the river parklands! Buses up and down Gordon are a few minutes away, … this is a Master bedroom well furnished, desk, bed, closet, lamps, dresser, shelves etc.
House residents are quiet, and cheerful, either at University PhD mostly, or post PhD and working in industry in Guelph. We can likely accommodate you prior to November 7th, if urgently needed at my place on the south side of campus and then transfer you to 18 Fairview Blvd, … we normally have predominantly International students, and thus have the house well furnished, … so we are unable to accommodate your own furnishings, except sheets, pillows, blankets etc. Current residents are from Canada, India, mostly, but we have hosted from around the globe for 21 years. Good kitchen, and main floor bathroom 4 piece shared with two other residents on the main floor,… Lower level two PhD (couple) share a large room and bath of their own, but they cook upstairs. Lots of cupboard and fridge space.
Off street parking is not available, but many students park on this side of the street, which is not restricted except it must be clear during winter storms to allow for snow removal. There is a nice dining area and living room couches etc. In the basement there is a no coin laundry… washer and dryer … the house has A/C in summer, we do require first and last month rent at time of signing, and a minimum of 7 months leasing, til end of May 2007, but
we can extend the lease also if that is suitable for both parties.
Contact me through my University of Guelph email, if you wish to arrange a visit to the house! Or have a proxy visit on your behalf if not yet in Guelph!
I am a retired Guelph M.D. and sometimes take courses at the Uni for pleasure!
Cheers!
