I am subletting my room in this old-university house from January 1st until the end of the end of my lease on April 30th. Great location in a nice neighborhood partway between the University and downtown Guelph. It is a six person house, so you will likely have 5 roommates. Current tenants are male aged 18-23 and mostly UoG students. Everyone is friendly and respectful!
It’s a large room with a closet, definitely a bargain for the price as I’ve been there for a few years, and the original lease has been fixed since before rent skyrocketed in 2023. Utilities and WiFi are included. The bed, large desk and dresser are also available for you to keep as they were originally in the house when I moved in. There is storage space in the garage for extra furniture if you would rather move them out or store your own things.
You may have an opportunity to resign the lease if you wish to stay after this spring, but it would likely be at a higher price.
