Affordable and close to campus, the Co-op operates lodging houses, apartment buildings, and townhouses below market rates. Environmental sustainability is a core value and the Co-op has been an early adopter in many forms of leading edge technologies and approaches. It’s more affordable because our mandate is to serve students, not make big profits. Another reason for its affordability is that housing members must participate in the upkeep. CSA Resources

Looking for housing and need support? Check out the CSA’s Student Help and Advocacy Centre (SHAC) for confidential assistance. SHAC provides tenancy workshops, lease reviews, and legal information to help with issues like conflicts with landlords, roommates, evictions, and rent increases. They also provide referrals to Off-Campus Living and a FREE paralegal through the CSA. This service is free for undergrad students covered by the CSA fee. Contact SHAC at UC 235 or email [email protected] for resources to make informed decisions about your housing situation.
